Well in short CS50 is a Harvard Univirsity course by David J. Malan that teaches you the bascis of computer science and puts you in the right direction of being a well educated programmer and introduce you to an amazing community that is welling to help you all for Free !.
You will start with Scratch with is not a language but it's a good way to introduce you to programming concepts Then you will be Studying C, Python, SQL, HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT, Security & More!. There are even Tracks for Mobile apps(IOS & Andriod) & Games Development.
The most thing that attracted me to take CS50 was professor David J. millan, his is just immaculate and the Energy he brings, Keeps you in focus the whole lecture, and his teaching fellows are very talented Brain, doug & more!.
The Problem sets are very important you learn nothing without solving them by yourself, they were pretty challenging but once you solve them you will feel that Dopamine kicking in. You can always search for what you are stuck at on the internet but don’t just get the answer online that’s against the course ethics.
Don’t get overwillmed, whatever you are stuck at just leave it for a new morning and just keep going and check out my Tips & tricks Page i’ll put plenty of helpfull resources there!
I started Early October 2020 and it’s january 2021 now & i’m almost there. but the thing is i really want to grasp each idea during the course and feel like i’m way more confident now than when i started and that’s what matter, compare yourself to yourself after each week and if you are a better version then you are doing it right!.
